This Policy explains how LookSwap ("we", "our", "us") handles information when you use our iOS app and web app.
2) Information we collect
- Account & contact: email, display name, and any messages you send to support.
- Purchases & subscriptions: plan type, status, renewal dates, and transaction metadata from Apple (for iOS purchases) or our payment provider (for web purchases). We do not store full payment card numbers.
- App usage & device/browser info: basic technical data, analytics, crash/performance logs.
- Content you upload: photos and other images you submit so we can generate outputs.
- Cookies & similar (web): to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure performance.
3) How we use information
- Provide and operate the apps and generate results you request.
- Process purchases, manage subscriptions and credits, and send receipts/transactional messages.
- Maintain safety and prevent abuse.
- Diagnose issues, improve features, and analyze aggregate usage.
- Comply with applicable laws and enforce our Terms.
4) AI images & model training
We process your uploads only to provide the features you request and to keep the service secure. We do not use your personal photos to train models without your explicit consent.
5) Legal bases (where required, e.g., EEA/UK)
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis (such as in the EEA/UK), we rely on one or more of the following, as applicable: performance of a contract (to provide the service you request), legitimate interests (e.g., security, improvements), legal obligations, and consent where required.
6) How we share information
We share information only with:
- Payment platforms (Apple for iOS; a payment provider for web) to process transactions and manage subscriptions.
- Service providers (hosting, storage, analytics, error monitoring, customer support) under agreements that restrict their use of your data.
- Legal/Compliance when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
We do not sell your personal information.
7) International data handling
Your information may be processed in countries other than yours. We use well-known service providers that handle data in line with applicable laws. Where local law requires specific transfer mechanisms (for example in the EEA/UK), those mechanisms are used by us or our providers as appropriate.
8) Data retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service and for legitimate business or legal purposes. You may request account deletion; certain records (e.g., transaction logs) may be retained where required.
9) Your choices & rights
- Access/Update: update profile details in the app or contact us.
- Delete: request account deletion; we will remove personal data unless we must keep some for legal reasons.
- Marketing: you can opt out of non-essential emails if we send them.
Your rights depend on your location; we honor applicable requests under local law.
10) Children
Our services are not intended for children under the minimum age required by local law (e.g., 13 in the U.S.). If a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will remove it.
11) Security
We use technical and organizational measures to protect information (encryption in transit, access controls, periodic reviews). No method is 100% secure, but we work to protect against unauthorized access.
12) Payments & refunds (summary)
- iOS purchases: billed to your Apple ID; Apple's policies apply to any refunds.
- Web purchases: billed via our payment provider. Our policy is no refunds for subscriptions or credit/points packs once purchased, except where required by law. See the Terms for more.
13) Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows the latest version. Your continued use after an update means you accept the updated Policy.
